GALLOP, LOIS CATHERINE ELEANOR - Lois Gallop of Fredericton passed away, on Thursday, September 8 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was 86. Born in Campbellton, NB she was the daughter of the late John and Jessie (Dennison) Goss and wife of the late George Albert Gallop. Lois was retired from the Department of Justice and a member of the Anglican Church, where she sang in the choir at Christ Church (Parish) Church. Survived by her daughter Nancy Welock; son Charles Gallop; granddaughter Katherine Mahoney (Matthew) all of Fredericton; sister in law Hazel Goss of Cornerbrook, NF; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son in law Brian Welock and a brother Jack Goss.
Visitation will be held Monday from 2:30 to 4:30 and 7 to 9 PM from Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday from Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM with Archedeacon John Sharpe officiating. Interment in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
