Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Sunday, September 11, 2011, of Merlin Peter Bennett McKenna of Baldwins Road, in his 81st year.
Beloved husband of Jean (nee Clarkin) for 47 years. Dear brother of Theresa Smith, Boston, Mass.; Terence (Peg), John (Mae), both of 48 Road; Margaret (Harold) Rogerson, Emmett, both of Hamilton, ON; Herman, Baldwins Road; and Reg (Betty Lou), Charlottetown. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.Predeceased by son, Joseph John, parents, Peter and Georgina (nee Power), brother George, brother-in-law Henry Smith and sister-in-law Joan.
Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home until Wednesday at 9:15 a.m., then to St. Cuthbert’s Church, St. Teresa, for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation: Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
