Peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, of Teresa Gertrude McCarville of Kinkora, age 80 years. Beloved wife of Lorne McCarville. Born in Avondale, P.E.I., on March 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Alphonsus and Annie O’Donnell. Loving mother to Gordon (Shelly), Cornwall; Kevin (Carole), Charlottetown; Robert (Carla), Minnedosa, Man.; Francis (Lauretta), Barrie, Ont.; James (Annick), Toronto, Ont.; and Glenn (Kelly), Buren, Nfld. She will be sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren: Kimberly, Ryan, Kelly, Jaclyn, Christine, Ellen, James, Emily, Lucas, Camryn and Abby. She is survived by sisters Ruth Leufkens, Bernice Callaghan and Barbara McIssac and sisters-in-law Pat O’Donnell, Joan O’Donnell, Aggie McCarville, Doreen McCarville MacCormack, June McCarville, Frances Burd (Bill), and Mary McCarville, and by brother-in-law Raymond McCarville. She was predeceased by brothers Philip and Bernie, sister Jean Carmichael, brothers-in-law Francis McIsaac, Charles Carmichael, Bert Leufkens, Fred Callaghan, and Leo, Emmett and George McCarville, and sister-in-law Edna Hagan. Visitation at the Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora, on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Members of the Catholic Women’s League will say prayers at Funeral Home Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Funeral mass to be held on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 10 a.m. at St. Malachy’s Parish Church, Kinkora. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Prince County Hospital Equipment Fund.
