How long has it been?
I try not to think.
Seems like it happened
One day when I blinked.

You were no longer there,
It all had begun.
We were faced with the worst
With no where to run.

Hanging on so tight,
To never let you go.
You held us together
Only wish you could know.

It seems time can stand still,
Like 12 years didn’t pass at all.
The day the Lord whispered your name
And only you heard the call.

Missing you today,
Like all the ones before.
Time won’t change a thing
