Formerly of 3169 Sunset Ave., Kathleen passed away on Sept. 11, 2011, at the Maple Hill Manor, New Waterford.
Born in Inverness, she was the eldest daughter of the late Eddie and Florence White.
She is survived by her brother, Greg (Theresa); sisters-in-law, Beatrice and Mary Ann; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Kathleen worked in the kitchen at the Inverness Hospital and as a housekeeper at Mount Carmel Convent, she devoted her life to her parents. She will also be remembered for her kind nature and love of cats.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by brothers, Gerald (Tonto), Joe and sister, Marie (Charlie, deceased) Poirier.
Cremation has taken place and a chapel service will be held Thursday, Sept. 15 at 5 p.m. at McLellan Brothers Funeral Home, 3183 Plummer Ave., New Waterford, 862-7500.
In lieu of flowers donations in Kathleen's memory can be made to the Alzheimers Unit, Maple Hill Manor, whose exceptional care will not soon be forgotten.
