Burrows, Phyllis (Gertrude) “Nannie B”
77, of Green Oaks, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2011 in the Palliative Care Unit, Colchester Regional Hospital. Born in Kensington, PEI, she was predeceased by her parents Marshall and Pearl (Macintyre) Carr. Phyllis was dearly loved by her family and friends and always welcomed everyone into her home for a visit or a cup of tea and her homemade treats. Phyllis is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert Burrows, her loving only daughter, Marsha (Burrows) Milner; her beloved grandsons, Jesse, Brad and Cameron Milner and her sister Grace and (Murdock); Bourdreau. Brother Bobby (predeceased) sister-in-law Carol; sister-in-law Joan; Frank. Many aunts’ uncles, cousins and friends.
Phyllis always cared for others and in death donated her body to the Dalhousie Human Donation Program in hopes she will save others. After her body is returned to her family there will be a graveside service at a later date. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia or the Palliative Care Unit at the Colchester Regional Hospital would be greatly appreciated. We would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Cameron, Phyllis’ special homecare workers and all the staff at the Palliative Care Unit at the Colchester Regional Hospital.
Forever Loved and Always Missed Nannie B who dedicated her life to helping others.
