Welton, Sandra - 67, Economy
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sandra Welton on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at home. She was born in Toronto, Ontario on April 9, 1942. She moved to Economy in 1982 and with her husband Ralph, built a home and a business. She was a very hard worker and devoted much of her time to the betterment of the community. She always opened her home and her heart to anyone who needed it, including countless dogs, cats, birds, squirrels and other animals. She bravely battled against cancer for six years and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph; sons, Douglas, Robert and Brian; sisters, Cynthia, Sharon, Bonnie; sister-in-law, Patricia; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Susie and brother, Chris. A private funeral service took place on Monday October 12, 2009.
