STELLARTON - It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Thomas Raymond Kirincich, 68, of Foster Avenue, Stellarton on October 13, 2009.
Born August 29, 1941 in Stellarton, Ray was the eldest son of the late Steffa and Thomas Kirincich.
Ray worked as a teacher at Port Hawkesbury High School until 1973 when he returned to his roots in Pictou County and went to work for Michelin Tire until his retirement. Ray will be remembered for his love of carpentry and crafts, which are now all over the world. He loved the outdoors, and could often be found working in his garden or lending a helping hand to anyone in need.
He is survived by his wife, Louise (McIsaac); son Thomas Jr. (at home); son Jeffery (Virginia) Stellarton; grand-dog, Sophia; brother, Steve (Jeannie) Kirincich, Stellarton; sister, Theresa (Gordon) MacDonald, St. Croix; brother-in-law, Ed Mullen (Ottawa); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Helen Mullen and his faithful companion, Shadow.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 Friday at H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. A private family burial will take place on Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes cemetery.
