NORLIN – Mrs. Rita (nee Head), it is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Rita Head Norlin. Rita passed away suddenly in the early morning hours of October 10, 2009 in her home. Rita was born May 16, 1952 to Norbert and Mary Head on the Mistawasis First Nations. She was the youngest of six children. Rita was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She will be missed for her love of life and the laughter she brought to everyone around her. Rita leaves to mourn her husband Lloyd of 30 years; her sons Augustine (Nicole) Bear and Jason Bear and his daughter Heather Roberts; her daughter Crystal Bear and her daughter Sidney; her stepchildren Laurie, Candace, Kevin and Leon Norlin; her sisters Martha (Raymond) Goranson, Bertha Birdsall; her brothers Barkley Head and Russell (Sarah) Head and many numerous nieces and nephews. Rita was predeceased by her parents Norbert and Mary Head; her brother Wesley; sister-in-law Georgeline Head; in-laws Ed and Ingbreg Norlin along with many other family members. Public Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2009 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK. Graveside Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
