DEION VIOLET SHERAN

Lieu de naissance : Terre-Neuve, Canada

Lieu de décès : Terre-Neuve, Canada

December 29, 1910 - October 6, 2009

It is with sadness in our hearts that our Aunt has been called home to be with our Lord. After 98 years Auntie is where she always wanted to be "Walking with the Lord".

Deion left behind her nephew Michael (Sue) Pierce and family of Edmonton, Alberta, Suzanne (John) Akins and family of Kamloops and Brianna Haver and family of Lynden, Washington U.S.A. Deion also left many relatives in the southern U.S. that will mourn her passing.

Deion was predeceased by her life's love Bob, her sister Eileen Pierce, and brother-in-law Cliff Pierce.

Deion was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. She met her husband Bob just before the 2nd World War and waited for him to come back from the Pacific, in 1945, to be married. Deion and Bob had an evangelistic ministry and traveled through the eastern U.S. and Canada until the mid 50's.

Deion then went into sales and managed various department stores until she found her passion, managing a very successful chain of Hawaiian clothing stores based in La Jolla California. During this time Deion and Bob discovered the beautiful Shuswap Lake and fishing. Deion and Bob camped and fished the lake for years until retiring to their dream home on its shores in 1970.

Deion moved to Kamloops after her husband's passing in 1994, and lived on the North Shore until moving into Berwick on the Park in 2005.

We would like to thank the staff of Berwick on the Park and the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice House for all the loving care shown our Aunt before her passing. We would also like to thank Deion's special friend Vera, for all the time, energy, and love shared over the years. Your ministry not only helped our aunt but was extended to our families as well. God Bless you.

There will be a graveside service at Hillside Cemetery on November 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.

Deion has requested that any donations in her memory be sent to Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home; 72 Whiteshield Cr. South, Kamloops, B.C. V2E 2S9.
