We would like to express our gratitude for the kindness shown to us during this difficult time.

Thank you to the home support workers whose efforts gave Delia a better quality of life. Words cannot express the value of enabling her to maintain her dignity and independence while living at home.

To the doctors, nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit whose dedication and professionalism brought comfort to Delia and her family and friends during her stay at Western Memorial Regional Hospital.

To the many people who gave of their time, provided food, sent cards, flowers, mass cards, and made charitable donations, you share our grief and help honor the life of a mother, sister, friend and volunteer.

Our gratitude is also extended to Monsignor Robertson, Father Grace, Trisha Lake who provided the music, Jorge Villanueva for his very touching song tribute to Mom, Eileen Ryan who came to our home to make all of the service arrangements, the Catholic Women’s League of Deer Lake for their honor guard, and to the Deer Lake and Pasadena ladies for the lunch provided after the service.

Thank you also to Fillatre’s Funeral Home and especially to Amanda Rogers whose compassion and assistance was truly appreciated.
