LÉGER, SIMONNE - In memory of Simonne Léger, 76, passed away surrounded by her family on September 14, 2011 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton. Born in Dupuis Corner, September 12, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Céleste (Lirette) Lirette. Simonne is remembered by her loving husband George and their children: Denise Léger (Dieter Hartmann) of Lake Country, Marcelle Léger of Dieppe, Claude Léger (Maureen Rumsey) of Chilliwack, BC, Maurice Léger of Lake Country, BC, Sandra (Roy Savoie) of Beresford, Stephen Léger of Shediac; twelve grandchildren: Chris, Jesse, Mathieu, Sarah, Ryan, Chantal, Katelyn, Jordan, Pierre-Luc, Kelsey, Luc, Taylor; three great grandchildren: Warren, Avery and Lauren. She will also be remembered by several brothers and sisters: Lorraine Collette of Grand Barachois, Albert Lirette (Carmella) of Bouctouche, Françine Black of Shediac and Léonce Lirette (Carol) of Kitchener, ON and by many friends. She is predeceased by daughter Joanne, grandson James, five sibblings: Johnny, Lionel, Dianna, Gérard and Annette.
Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure at 10:20 a.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment of the ashes will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Shediac.
