The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Saturday Sept. 17, 2011 of Louise Wedge of Miminegash aged 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Wedge. She was born in East Village, N.S., on Dec. 2, 1928, the daughter of the late Ollie and Elsie (nee Roblee) Robinson. Dear mother to Colleen (Victor) Wedge-Gaudet, Boutouche, N.B., Stephen (Bernadine) Wedge, Edmonton, Alberta, Alannah (Timothy) Eagle, Orleans, Ont., Connie Wedge, St. Lawrence, Kathy (Wayne) Wedge-Bernard, Hunter River and Jason Wedge, Miminegash. Loving grandmother to nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Laura (Fred) MacKinnon and Muriel Spencer a brother Ernie (Gerene) Robinson and a sister-in-law Marion Robinson all of Nova Scotia. She was predeceased by her parents Ollie and Elsie, husband Clifford, brothers Aubrey and Whitman, sister Jean, sister-in-law Dora and brother-in-law Johnny. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Rd. for visitation Monday 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 1:30 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Memorial donations to the Miminegash Fire Department Equipment Fund would be greatly appreciated.
