Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Center, on September 17th, 2011, Robert M. Kennedy. Age 71 years. Predeceased by his granddaughter Kayla Walsh 2007, his brother John, sister Marguerite Manuel, sister-in-law Shirley Kennedy and niece Jackie Manuel. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 46 years Judy (nee Learning); daughters: Heather Dai (Philip) and Lisa Walsh (Paul); grandchildren: Sarah Walsh, Max and Carson Dai; brother Bill Kennedy (Daphne); sister Linda Whalen (Henry); sisters-in-law Sylvia Porter (Albert), Glenys Wiseman (Denis), Sandra Power(Dave) and Barb Smith (Gerard); brothers-in-law Rick Learning (Dolly) and Roger Learning (Sharon); as well as a number of nieces, nephews and some very special friends. Special thank you to the Nurses and Doctors of the dialysis units at the Health Sciences Complex and Waterford Hospital. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Tuesday from 7-9pm, on Wednesday from 10am - 9pm, and on Thursday from 10am- 12noon. Funeral service to take place at First United Church, Mt. Pearl at 2 PM on Thursday September 22nd, 2011.
