Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, September 17, 2011, Violet Mae Pike of Bay Roberts; formerly of Harbour Grace, age 79 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Caroline Hiscock; sisters: Rebecca, Naomi, Maryann and Marcella; brothers: Steadman, William, Fred and Eugene. Leaving to mourn, husband: Cyril; two daughters: Bonnie Pike, Bay Roberts and Peggy (Brian) Tuttle, Shearstown; one son: Carl (Georgina), Wabush; two grandchildren: Trevor David and Meghan Rebecca (Austin); two great-grandchildren: Nova Jade and Cruz Austin; family pet: Peter; one sister: Mabel Tucker, St. John’s; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
