At her home on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, of Myrtle Louise Matthews (nee Morrell), Charlottetown, age 87 years. Dear mother of Lloyd Rayner (Irene), Clare Rayner (Ann), Linda MacLean (Sterling), Jim Rayner (Susan) and Brenda Coles (David). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-grandson. Predeceased by her husband, Herbert Matthews, by her parents, John and Belle (Silliker) Morrell, by her brothers and sisters, Estella, William, Stanley, Margaret, Alice, Leslie, Leonard and Leigh. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment later in Highfield Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 2 to 5. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
