On a beautiful late summer evening Terrance Louis Alger (Terry) passed away peacefully with his wife and son by his side.

Terry was born January 18, 1945 in Nanaimo, he died September 10, 2011 (9/10/11) in Victoria.

Terry is survived by Nancy, his wife of forty years. He also leaves two sons, Steve (Connie) of Kamloops and Jason (Cahrol) of Brisbane, Australia. Terry was also blessed with two beautiful grandchildren Faith and Max.

Terry was predeceased by his parents William & Arpa, step-father Bill and granddaughter Hope.

Terry was an avid woodworker. His creations will be his legacy in the homes of his family and friends. Terry had a long career with Telus (BC Tel) which took him to many communities in British Columbia. In his retirement he enjoyed travelling and camping with Nancy and his much loved 'puppy' Rio.

The family is profoundly grateful to the many health care professionals who provided exceptional care to Terry over the years. Special thanks to the staff of the ICU at Royal Jubilee for the support they gave us all.
