KAULBACK, Allen Ellsworth – 71, Bible Hill, passed away peacefully, Sunday afternoon surrounded by his family, September 18, 2011, at Colchester Regional Hospital. Allen served over 20 years with the Royal Canadian Air Force. Born September 16, 1940, in Yarmouth, he was the son of the late Harold Kaulback and the late Eva (Collins) McLean. Allen will be missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Arlene, Bible Hill and their son, Darren (Ruth) and two granddaughters, Jenna and Emily, Hamilton, Ontario; siblings, Lloyd (Sylvia) Kaulback, Greenfield; Stanley (Laverne) Kaulback, Bible Hill; Linda Briden, Ontario; Judy (Kevin) Barager, Yarmouth; Faye (Larry) MacKenzie, Greenfield; Joan Kaulback, Earltown; Paul (Eve) Kaulback, Ontario; Barbara Chafe, Halifax; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Gary in infancy. Allen’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Colchester Regional Hospital for their loving care and compassion. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Allen’s family will receive friends from 1-1:50 p.m., Saturday, September 24, and where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Pastor Fredric Whittier officiating.
