The family of the late Joan Marks would like to express their sincere thanks to all family and friends for the kindness shown during our Mother’s passing.

We gratefully acknowledge gifts of food, flowers, cards, e-mails, and donations in Mom’s memory to the local Cancer Clinic where she volunteered for many years.

A special thank you to Monsignor Gale, the choir, the readers, and the Bereavement Committee at All Hallows Church for a beautiful service.

Thank you to Fillatre’s Funeral Home for their attention to every detail and to the pallbearers.

The nursing and support staff at the Corner Brook Long Term Care gave wonderful care to Mom during her last five months. We will be forever grateful.

Perhaps you sent a lovely card,
Or sat quietly in a chair,
Perhaps you sent a funeral spray,
If so, we saw it there,
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words,
As any friend could say,
Perhaps you were not there at all,
Just thought of us that day,
Whatever you did to console us,
We thank you so very much, whatever the part.
