THANK YOU
FARRELL FAMILY
Today we give thanks to all the people who helped us during the recent loss of our mother Eileen Farrell. She was carried into her funeral mass by her grandchildren: Brent Pittman, Devin and Christopher Farrell, Heather Farrell-Lee and Colin and Cara Andrews. Fr. Errol MacDonald, we were so comforted by your sermon -- your words told us of how well you knew our mom. The readings read by her brother Alphonse and granddaughter Meghan Farrell, told of mom having done “admirable things”, her “valiant character” and her love of Christ. The General Intercessions were read by her grandson, Brent Pittman, who travelled from Toronto to be with his mother, Marguerite Pittman. We forward a sincere thank you to al our family, friends and neighbours. To al who sent condolence cards cards, memorial donations, food donations, on-line condolences, flowers and phoned our homes we were comforted indeed. To those people who travelled to attend mom’s funeral thank you kindly. We send thanks to the Choir, Altar Servers, Eucharistic Ministers and Holy Redeemer Parish for your part in the funeral mass for Eileen. For the luncheon organized by the CWL of the parish --we give thanks. A special thank you to Dr. F. Buhariwalla, the CCU/Palliative Care nurses at the Regional Hospital -- your care and kindness was exceptional. To Fr. Errol MacDonald, Fr. Norman MacPhee and Fr. Dan MacInnis we say “thanks” for your prayers and words of comfort during mom’s brief illness. Also, to mom’s sister, Genny Farrell, whose constant support and prayers gave us the strength to get through this difficult time -- she is our family’s angel. We send a heartfelt thank you to Bill Curry, Trevor Tracey and Julie Mayich from T.W. Curry, your gentleness and caring will remain with us forever.
