It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie Marie Moores announce her passing at the O’Connell Center on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the age of 91 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories; her son Bruce of Corner Brook, daughter Ruth (Bill) Sutherland of Winnipeg MB, 2 grandchildren; Shauna and Brent, 2 great grandchildren; Kayden, and Mackenzie as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Roy, brothers; Clayton and Fred, sisters; Lily Sweetland, Irene Luther and Pearl Legge. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Oakland United Church on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Kim Waite officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the O’Connell Center, Corner Brook.
