Mary Ellen MacDonald RN
The family of the late Mary Ellen MacDonald wish to convey their sincere thanks to relatives, friends, neighbours for all their generosity and support. We are very grateful to all, who sent mass, sympathy and memorial cards. Thank you to all those who sent flowers food or took the time to visit with us at our home or at the funeral home. We will never forget your thoughtfulness. Many thanks to the staff of the Maple Hill Manor; we appreciate your professional care and compassion. Special thanks to the St. Leonard Choir, fiddler Winnie Chafe and St. Leonard CWL, who provided lunch following the funeral. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the RN and CWL honour guards and the KOC for their prayer service. A special thank you to pallbearer’s, grandsons, Michael MacDonald, Brennan MacDonald, Colin MacDonald and Gavin MacDonald, son-in-law, Allan Trueman and son Ronald J MacDonald. Thank you to the lectors, son, Fred MacDonald, daughter, Paula Trueman and intentions by granddaughter, Megan McLaughlin. The gift bearers were Mairi Lindsay MacDonald, Molly Elliot and Megan McLaughlin, Mary Ellen's granddaughter. We would also like to thank Father Victor Ozoufuanya and Deacon Leo Penny who added so much to Mary Ellen's funeral mass. Finally a sincere thank you to the staff of VJ McGillivray Funeral Home for all their compassion and their professionalism.
