Olive Kathleen Vernon (nee Spark) passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2011 in Kamloops at the age of 82 years. She was born on December 23, 1928 in Wallasey, England.

She was predeceased by husband Ron of 62 years on June 2, 2010.

Olive is survived by her son Robert, her daughter Lesley and son-in-law Ken, also grandchildren Michael, John, Jennifer, Jessica and Mark.

Olive was a very loving mother and "Nana" and also very talented in arts and crafts.

The family would like to thank Dr. J. Anderson, the staff at Kamloops Seniors Village, Royal Inland Hospital and the Ponderosa Lodge for their loving care of Olive.

The family would also like to thank Shirley and Bonnie for their amazing friendship and loving care of Mum.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel, 513 Seymour Street, with Pastor Brian Krushel officiating.
