It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maxwell Gerald Halfyard announce his passing on Wednesday, September 14th, 2011 at the Sturgeon Hospital, St. Albert, Alberta, at the age of 49 years. Predeceased by his mother, Ada (1997) and nephew, David (1989). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: his son Cody Gogowich, Edmonton, AB., father George (Mancel) Halfyard, Woody Point, NL, 9 siblings: Betty (Jim) PEI, George (Gloria) Wiltondale, NL, Paul (Ann) Wiltondale, NL, Ann (Jim) Winterhouse Brook, NL, Jack (Rima), Edmonton, AB, Marguerite (Myles) Dartmouth, NS, Eric (Lori) Edmonton, AB, Lynn, Woody Point, NL, Joy (John), St. John's, NL, as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Cremation has taken place at Max’s request. Visitation will take place at the United Church in Woody Point on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place at the United Church in Woody Point on Saturday, October 1st. at 1:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted and donations in Max’s memory can be made to the St. Andrews United Church Cemetery Fund.
