On Wednesday, September 21, 2011 Mr. Antonio Junior Loureiro of Kamloops passed away at the age of 79 years.

He is survived by his son Alexandre bio Loureiro of Brazil and his sister Cacilda of Brazil.

Antonio was born on April 21, 1932 in Portugal. He immigrated to Brazil where he worked as a carpenter. He came to Canada on May 24, 1973 and settled in Kamloops where he continued his carpentry trade. Antonio was always impeccably dressed and he strived relentlessly to improve his command of the English language. He studied comparative religions, and was an excellent craftsman.

Thanks to the nursing staff on 7 North Royal Inland Hospital and the staff at We Care for their kindness and hard work.

Those wishing to pay their respects by viewing, may do so on Monday, September 26 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel.

A Committal service and entombment will take place at Sage Valley Mausoleum located at Hillside Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
