(November 1, 1916 - September 21, 2011). Passed peacefully away at the Grand Bank Health Centre on September 21st, 2011, Captain Harvey Banfield of Grand Bank in his 95th year. Predeceased by parents George & Susan Banfield, brother Gabriel and sisters Eliza, Esther, & Vera. Leaving to mourn: loving wife of 65 years, Blanche; daughter Sharon (Sam); grandsons: Steven (Sandra), Sterling (Julie); two great-granddaughters: Megan & April, and a large circle of family and friends. Remains resting at Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank. Visitation hours: Thursday 7 pm - 9 pm, Friday and Saturday 10 am - 12 pm; 2 pm - 4 pm; 7 pm - 9 pm. Funeral Service will take place Sunday, September 25th, 2011 at 2 pm from the United Church in Grand Bank. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Grand Bank. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank.
