Passed away suddenly, yet peacefully at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Thursday, September 22nd, 2011, age 76 years. Predeceased by his wife Theresa (nee Hickey) 1994, parents Michael and Lillian, brothers: Leo, Ned and Tom, and sisters: Genevieve (Wilfred), Rose and Marg. Left with fond and loving memories, his sister and “chief cook” Shirley Hanlon; sisters-in-law: Lucy Chafe (John), Madeline Quigley and Elsie Foley; special nephews: Perry and Mike; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thank-you to the staff of 2 East St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, especially Carolanne, Rosie, Linda and Kim and a special thanks to his union buddy, Dave. Upon his request, cremation has taken place. Graveside Service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Saturday, September 24th, at 3:45 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Patrick’s Mercy Home.
