GRANT, Zane William – 56, Brookfield, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro, surrounded by his loving family. Born September 23, 1954, in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, he was a son of the late James and Jessie (Maynard) Grant. Zane is survived by his common-law wife of 23 years, Pauline Ann Cox; daughters, Teasha Grant, Shawna Grant (Troy); son, Bradley Grant (Becky); step-children, Randy Cox, Shirley Cox; grandchildren, Ryan, Patrick, Ashley, Mitchell, Emma, Braylin, Rylee, Mya; sister, Cindy Grant, Brookfield; brother, George Grant (Sue), Malton, Ontario. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Zane’s family will receive friends from 9-10:45 a.m., Saturday, September 24, 2011, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m., Reverend Larry Harrison officiating. Interment in Brookfield Westside Cemetery, Carter Road, Brookfield. Reception will follow at Truro Horsemen’s Club, Truro Raceway, Bible Hill. Family flowers only.
