EVANS, Elizabeth– Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre after a short illness, Elizabeth Evans, aged 93 years. Predeceased by husband Frederick Robert Evans (1986) and grandson Harold (2006). Leaving to mourn daughters: Shirley (Nick), Bernice (Stuart), Mercedes (Geoff), Ruth (Greg); sons: Fred Jr. (Bernice), Gerard (Linda), as well as special friend Bernice Osmond. Also leaving to mourn 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, donations in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to the Dr. H.
