Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on September 17, 2011, Edith Elizabeth Soper, age 55 years, from Goobies. Left with many wonderful memories are her husband, David; sons, Christopher (Patricia), Timothy (Claire), David; daughters, Diana (Darrell), Shenna (Bradley) Vivian; grandchildren, Michael Bailey, Nevaeh and Nathan Vivian, Shybli Marsh; brother, Melvin (Olive) Baker; sisters, Yvonne (John) Dadich, Shirley (Mike) Grant; sister-in-law, Ivy Spurrell and many other relatives and friends. Rested at the Bethel Pentecostal Church, Goobies, from where the funeral service, officiated by Pastor David Vaters, took place on September 20, 2011 with interment following. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Random Island.
