It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Robert Henry Paige, on Oct. 1, 2009, in British Columbia.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of Henry and Roberta (Daye) Paige.
He lived life to the fullest. Robert enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was a carpenter by trade.
Besides his parents, Robert is survived by his companion, Debbie Quirk; his two sons, Michael Paige and Donnie Paige, both of B.C.; one sister, Marie Paige (Sandy), New Waterford; brother, Charlie (Hilda) Paige, Albert Bridge; as well as his several nieces and nephews.
Robert was predeceased by his brother, Sheldon.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation for Robert will be held Tuesday, Oct. 20 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney from 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Fred Rhymes officiating. Interment to follow in St. Bartholomew’s Cemetery, weather permitting.
Family flowers only. Donations in Robert’s name may be made to the Cape Breton Palliative Care Society or charity of choice.
