Passed peacefully at his home on Friday, September 23, 2011 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with Leukemia. Kevin Joseph Crane, age 78 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret; his children Barry, Stephen, Valerie Olsen (Kai), Catherine Lewis (Shawn), Elaine Healey (Richard) and Gregory Crane (Jennifer); grandchildren Megan, Matthew, Jennifer, Mitchell, Kelsey, Mica, Kaitlin, Neil, Braden, Ellasyn, Abrielle and one great-grandson Caden; special daughter-in-law June Crane. Special thanks to Dr. Kirsty Tompkins, Dr. Grandy, Dr. Sculley and the nurses and staff at the Ambulatory Clinic and 4 North A of the Health Science Centre. Also leaving to mourn many other relatives and friends. At Kevin’s request, Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home on Saturday from 6–9 p.m. and Sunday 2–4 p.m. and 7–9 p.m. Funeral Service will take from Caul’s chapel on Monday, September 26, 2011 at 1 p.m. with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic.
