Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre, St. John's on Sunday, September 25, 2011, Daphne V. (nee Slade) Garland of Salmon Cove, age 67 years. Predeceased by parents: Maxwell and Flora Slade. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Shelley Garland, Corner Brook; two sons: Brad, Vancouver Island and Michael (Sherri), Mount Pearl; two grandchildren: Finnley and Chloe; one sister: Rowena Pynn, Salmon Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, September 29 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.
