Wile, Melburne Gilbert — 80, of Windsor, formerly of Tongue Hill, Hants County, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011 in the Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born on August 16, 1931, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Violet (Thompson) Wile. Surviving are daughters, Cindy (Chris) Corkum, Bridgewater; Tammy Wile (Richard Salter), Lower Burlington; Karen (Bill) Coldwell, Windsor; Sylvia Wile (Lavern Dykens), Bridgetown; grandchildren, Jessica, Colton, Shannon, Brian, Tanya; great-grandchildren, Kailee, Kayden, Nathaniel,Seline; brothers, Laurie (Marilyn), Ardoise; Ronald (Agnes), Summerville; step-brother, Albert Wile, Centreville, Kings County; sister, Arlene Spencer, Windsor; step-sisters, Helen Lunn, Coldbrook; Joan Wile-Hathaway, New Brunswick; Sandra Wile, Alberta; step-mother, Dorothy Wile. Predeceased by wife, the former Barbara Swinamer; son, Stephen; granddaughter, Melissa; brothers, Alvin, Basil, Lewis; sister, Sylvia Ryan. Visitation was held 7-9 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor. Funeral service was held 2 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011 in Lindsay’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Debra Mosher officiated. Interment was in the Ste. Croix Cemetery, St. Croix.
