age 78 — Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on October 18th, 2009. Predeceased by his parents Christian and Maria of Germany and his daughter Krista. Leaving to mourn his wife of 45 years Barbara (nee Hibbs), three sons; Karl, Kurt (Jackie) and Konrad and daughter Karen (Andy Harbin), six grandchildren; Victoria, Brittany, Nicholas, Samantha, Alison and Robyn, four brothers residing in Germany; Hans (Annaliese), Herman (Milita), Otto (Renata) and Helmut, one sister-in-law residing in Topsail; Noreen (Nonie) Richardson (Earl); numerous nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. At his request, cremation has already taken place and a memorial service celebrating Bill’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 21st, 2009 at 11 a.m. from Holy Innocents Anglican Church, Paradise with interment to follow at Holy Innocents Cemetery. No flowers by request and donations in his memory can be made to Mazol Shriners Transportation Fund or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
