ARSENAULT, GENEVIÈVE - Geneviève Arsenault, 86, wife of the late Bliss Arsenault of Trois Ruisseaux, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the palliative care unit of the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton following a brief illness. Born in Trois Ruisseaux, August 3, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Philippe and Ozithe (Léger) Brun. She will be greatly missed by her loving family, eight daughters: Marguerite Léger (Jean-Paul) of Grande Digue, Yvonne Goguen (Emery) of Trois Ruisseaux, Irène Hébert (France) and Nancy Arsenault (Émile Vautour) both of Grand Barachois, Albertine Belliveau (Raymond) and Jeannine Robichaud both of Dieppe, Carmella Cormier (Armand) of Cocagne and Linda Robichaud of Cap Pelé; a son Léo Arsenault (Gisèle Boudreau) of Grand Barachois; a brother Charles Brun of Trois Ruisseaux; 17 grandchildren: Michel, Nicole, Paul, Monique, Tammy, Angie, Joey, Janelle, Jessica, Tracy, Ricky, Luc, Joshua, Shawn, Sharon, Nathalie, Samuel; five great grandchildren: Isabelle, Tyson, Justin, Kierra, Austin and by several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Bliss (2008), she is also predeceased by a infant son Louis (1946) and a daughter Anita Cormier (September 12, 2011), two grandchildren: Vicky (1989) and Adam (2010) and by a sister Dauphine LeBlanc (2009).
Visitation at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap Pelé (577-3297) on Thursday, from 7 to 9 p.m. ONLY. Funeral mass will be held at Ste. Thérèse d'Avila R.C. church, Cap Pelé on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery. In Geneviève's memory, donations may be made to the Ste.
