EARLE, HELEN ALEXANDRA (SANDRA) (née McLEAN) - Sandra passed away peacefully at home in Palm Coast, Florida on September 27th, 2011 after a lengthy and valiant battle with cancer. Sadly mourned by her husband, Frank B. Carroll, her brother J. Dougall McLean, her children Cynthia (William Lunderville), Michael (Patricia) and Colin (Wendy) and her grandchildren Andrew, Brandon, Olivia, William, Nicholas and Stuart. Born in Saint John in 1931 to the late Senator A. Neil and Margaret May McLean, she was predeceased by her older sisters, Frances Larlee and Margaret Turnbull and her first husband, Michael Sydney Earle. Sandra attended Netherwood School, Rothesay for several years, and later graduated from Branksome Hall, Toronto before going on to study Occupational Therapy at Mount Allison University. An active member of the community, Sandra served on the board of the New Brunswick Museum and campaigned tirelessly for the Liberal party during her early life in Saint John.
