It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret “Rose” Colson announce her passing at her residence in Stephenville on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the age of 54 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Carl Millis (Edison); three sons: Jeremy of Ontario, Jonathan and Jason, both of Stephenville; three sisters: Ann Self of Oklahoma, Edith (Harry) Myers of Washington, Rita (Gus) Felix of Campbell’s Creek; three brothers: Amos (Debbie) Colson of Stephenville, Gordon Colson of Campbell’s Creek, Edward (Karen) Colson of Stephenville and sisters-in-law: Cindy (Lester) Powell of Goose Bay, Joanne (Rick) White of Noels Pond; brother-in-law, Ross (Kathy) Edison of Corner Brook and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Margaret Colson and her sister, Marie Colson. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, October 1st at 1:30 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville.
