It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edgar Payne announce his passing on Thursday, September 29th, 2011 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 72nd year. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, daughters: Evelyn (Rodney) and Wanda (Barry); eight grandchildren: Lori-Ann, Wilda, Robin, Stephanie, Brett, Darren, Jamie and Justin; 12 great-grandchildren: Melanie, Taylor, Rodney, Matthew, Jonah, Brooke, Nicholas, Alexandria, Ethan, Jared, Michael and Conner; daughter-in-law Genevieve; brother Kevin (Rowena) Payne and two sisters: Rachel Gushue and Effie (Steadman) Brophy; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Eileen and son Warren. Visitation will take place from the Anglican Church in Cow Head today Friday and Saturday where also funeral service will take place on Sunday at 11:00am with Rev. Brenton officiating.
