With regret, the family and friends of Margaret (Marge) McGillis, announce her passing on Sunday September 25, at the age of 61. Marge was born and raised in the Vancouver area by her parents Mac and Louise Porter. She was the oldest of four children, two sisters (Carolyn, Jennifer) and a brother (Brian). Marge moved to Fort St. John in 1975 with her former husband Reg and raised three boys, Andrew, Adam and Aaron. She will be sorely missed but will live on in our thoughts. Marge spent years in the community as a tax prep and got to know lots of outstanding people. She enjoyed family time with her sons and their wives, and especially time with her seven grandchildren with two more on the way.
There will be a Celebration of her life at the
Northern Grand Hotel on Sunday, October 2, at 2pm.
