We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the tremendous amount of comfort and support shown during the illness and passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend Babe MacDonald. To those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, food, flowers, monetary and charitable donations and emails, we express our deepest appreciation. Thank you to all family, friends, neighbours, co-workers, the Rummoli girls and the Southside Boularderie card players for their thoughtfulness. To the pallbearers, readers, gift bearers and all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nanny was always so proud of you. Thank you to the Eucharistic ministers, choir, altar servers and especially Father Peter MacLeod for making the service so comforting to our family. Special thanks to Dr. John Kirkpatrick, Dr. Andrew Wawer, the VON and 4th floor staff of the Northside General for their care and compassion. Thank you to the servers at George\'s River Fire Hall for the excellent luncheon. A special thanks to Peter Walsh, Danny Campbell and the staff of Dooley\'s Funeral Home for their warmth and professionalism. The overwhelming support shown in the numbers who attended the services and in the acts of kindness towards our family have confirmed what we all ready knew. Mom was loved not only by her family but also by everyone who knew her.
