METCALFE (nee Driscoll), Joan Rebecca– The family of the late Joan Metcalfe (nee Driscoll) announce with sadness the passing of their mother at Glenbrook Lodge on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in her 82nd year. She is predeceased by her husband Hollis James (January 29, 2005) and her son Hollis Lloyd (March 10, 1997). Leaving to mourn with loving memories her devoted daughter Jo-Anne (Tony); sons Ford (Elaine), Trevor (Ulia) and Fraser (Shirley); also, missing her will be her beloved grandchildren and her two great-grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Wednesday and Thursday 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail on Friday, December 12, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Topsail.
