The death occurred peacefully at Andrews Lodge, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, of Hester Mae Linkletter (nee Inman), formerly of Central Bedeque and Linkletter, P.E.I., aged 104 years.
Hester was born on July 8, 1907 to her late parents T.J. and Irene (nee Bell) Inman. Beloved wife of the late Albert Linkletter and loving mother of Robert (Joan) of Central Bedeque, Graeme (Kay) of Charlottetown and Rev. Donald (Roxy) of Waterloo, Ont. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Wayne (Kathy), Joanne (Stephen) Currie, Barry (Shannon), Brian (Janette), Lori, Kristen (Dave) Rekker, Bethany and Martha (Chris Hinkewich); great-grandchildren Maggie, Charlotte, Bridgette, Joshua, Lucas, Nicholas, Claire, Nathan, Emily, Olivia, Dawson, Kaelan, Eden and Anastasia.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Wednesday, Oct. 5, then to Trinity United Church, Summerside for a funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in People’s Cemetery, Summerside.
Memorial donations in Hester’s memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation, Trinity United Church or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
