With heavy hearts we wish to announce the sudden passing of Debbie C. J. Acorn of Georgetown, age 56 years, on Oct. 1, 2011, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Treasured mother of Mandy and Nathan Acorn. Fondly remembered by her husband of many years Blair Acorn. Daughter-in-law of Hilda and the late William Acorn. Sister of Donna (Cyril) Cashin, N.S.; Doreen (Joe) Shepard, Cardigan; Glen (Gertie) Llewellyn, Primrose; Charlene (Brian) Somers, Cardigan. Sisters-in-law Roxanne Llewellyn, Marion (Freeman) Trowbridge, Donna (Mike) Sherren, Debbie (Leonard) MacDonald, Colleen Acorn, brother-in-law Rueben Acorn and numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by special friend John Michael Quinn.
Predeceased by parents Chester (Bill) and Phyllis Llewellyn (nee Mowry), brother Garry Llewellyn, brother-in-law Barry Acorn, nephew Brian Cashin and grand niece Melina Shepard.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment in the St. David's United Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
