DOUCETTE, Claudia Elizabeth – 67, Dieppe, NB, and formerly of Yarmouth, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 23, 2011 in the Georges-L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton. Born September 20, 1944 in Yarmouth, Claudia went on to work with the Department of Transportation in Moncton as a cartographic draftsman, where she worked for many years. She is survived by her brother, Willie (Jan) Pothier, Yarmouth, as well as several cousins and her friend, Lizabeth Welling. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Robert and Carrie Doucette, as well as by her mother, Flossie Pothier and her step-father, Bill Pothier. Visitation took place from 7-9 Thursday, with prayers at 8 p.m., both at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. The funeral mass was held on Friday, September 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Henry Smolenaars officiated.
