Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, October 17, 2009, Mrs. Kathleen Marie Morrissey, age 78 years, of North River. Predeceased by her parents: Michael and Bridget (nee Phillips) Ryan; husband: Edward Joseph Morrissey; brother: Edward Ryan; sister: Mary (Phil) Delaney. Leaving to mourn: three daughters: Rosemary (Leonard Wade Locke), Lucille (Jerome Winter), Clare (Colin Kent): one sister; Loretta (Frank) McCue: six grandchildren: Lianne and Desarae Locke, Edward and Jeffrey Kent, William and Nicholas Winter: sisters-in-law: Elizabeth (Ivan) Hopkins, Marie Ryan, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Clarke’s Beach. Visitation on Sunday 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.; Monday 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 10 a.m. from All Hallows Roman Catholic Church, North River.
