It is with great sadness that the Stanley Family of Bishop’s Falls announce the untimely passing of their precious sister, May Stanley of Scarborough, ON (formerly of Bishop’s Falls) on September 21, 2011 at the young age of 59 years. May is predeceased by her parents, Cecil and Hilda Stanley; four brothers, Wilson, Andrew, Harold and Harry Stanley. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughter, Tanya Bower, son-in-law, Doug Bower and granddaughter, Georgia of Newcastle, ON; Friend, Enroy Glasgow of Brampton, ON; brothers, Jack (Shirley Stagg) of Bishop’s Falls, NL, Don (Cora) of Bishop’s Falls, NL, Roy of St. John’s, NL; sisters, Barbara (Chuck) Bartle of O’Leary, PEI, Donna (John) Peyton of Bishop’s Falls, NL, Verna (Bruce) Hunt of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Cathy (Reg) Parsons of Orleans, ON; sister-in-law, Maxine Stanley of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and co-workers at Cadillac Fairview Corporation. Funeral service took place at the Chapel in McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax, ON on September 24th, 2011 with Pastor Brian Wardlaw officiating. Pallbearers were brothers, Don Stanley and Roy Stanley, brothers-in-law, Reg Parsons and Bruce Hunt, and nephews, Perry Chaulk and Glenn Patey. In lieu of flowers donations were accepted for the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to McEachnie Funeral Home in Ajax, ON. Her kind and loving spirit will live on in our hearts forever!
