McLONG, PAULINE - Mrs. Pauline Theora McLong of Newline passed away on October 04, 2011 at the age of 84. She was the daughter of the late Weeden and Marie (Gray) Tabor and was the wife of the late Leroy McLong who passed away in 1975. Pauline is survived by her son Dave and his wife Wendy of Newline; son in law Gerald MacDonald of Hammondvale; two grandchildren Trevor MacDonald and Melanie Munford and her husband Nick; two great grandchildren Emma and Haley; her special friend Sandy McDougall of Newline, her cat Sparky as well as several nieces and nephews. Pauline was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is predeceased by her daughter Clara MacDonald in 2010 and by her sister Madeline “Betty” Beech.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on 1 to 3 and 6 to 8pm. A Celebration of Pauline’s life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Thursday, October 06, 2011 at 11:00 am. As an expression of sympathy donations made to the Hillsdale Baptist Church or the memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
