We, the daughters of the late Flossie Gillis, Lucille and Alanna, along with our families would like to extend a sincere thank you to all who supported us through this difficult time. To all our former Sutherland St. neighbours, friends and relatives who expressed sympathy of mom’s passing by sending food, cards, donations, flowers and phone calls; we are truly grateful. We are touched by the number of people who joined us both at the visitation and at mom’s funeral. A special thank you to all who traveled to be with us. Thank you to Father Jim Oliver for a beautiful mass, to Pierce Sampson and St. Theresa’s choir, to the CWL for their prayers at the wake, guard of honor at the church and food and hospitality at the reception. A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to Margie and Jim Mac Neil who provided a home for us and our families when visiting Mom. Over the last seven years they opened their hearts and hosted special occasions enabling us to celebrate with Mom, our families and friends. The support and love we received from Margie and Jim and their family has filled us with memories which we will always cherish. Mom would be very proud of all those who came together in love to celebrate her life.
