KITCHEN, LLOYD DALTON - August 15, 1933 - October 3, 2011 - Lloyd Kitchen passed away following a brief illness at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Lloyd was as wrecker driver for 20+ years he retired as a machine doctor for Durham Mines in Lake George, he was an avid hunter, and loved to watch western movies. He was the son of the late Walter and Lillian (McGuire) Kitchen. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Shirley and son Jeff (Marlene) of Kingsley Road, daughter Susie McCoy (Eugene) of Mazerolle Settlement, son Robert MacDonald (Susan) of Tracyville, daughter Karen Langille (Roger) of Hanwell; grandchildren Phillip (Sonya) of Kingston, Master Corp. Ryan (Jenny) of Kingston, Michelle Finnie (Troy), Jessie Foster (Mark), Jody Foster (Mya), Dan Burton (Jordon), Shannon Langille and Emma Langille; great-grandchildren Ethan, Dillan, Kayleigh, Justin, Brayden, Brendan, Logan, Reileigh and Emily; brothers and sisters; Eugene (Helen) Grace Constant, Velma Stafford, Myrna Holland, Faye Stewart (Allison), Arthur (Patsy) Kitchen, Gloria McKenzie (Alistair), Ruby Kitchen, sister-in-law. Predeceased by mother and father; son Frank; grandson Michael Foster; granddaughter, Morgan Langille; great-grandson Cameron Kitchen; brothers Hazen Kitchen and Karl McIntyre. Pallbearers: Phillip Kitchen, Ryan Kitchen, Jody Foster, Robert Kitchen, Fred Elliott, Matt Walton.
Visitation was held at 2nd Kingsclear Baptist Church 15 Mazerolle Settlement. Road, Wednesday, October 5th 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 6th at 2:00 pm at 2nd Kingsclear Baptist Church, Rev. Kendall McCrae and Rev. Robert Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Kingsclear Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kingsclear Baptist Cemetery, Heart and Stroke or Charity of donor’s choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to McAdams Funeral Home.
